7 min | 8 h defrosting | Easy | 7 Ingredients
Ingredients:
250 g frozen peas
2 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 garlic clove
¼ onion
1 pinch of chili flakes
2 pinches of pepper

- blender or fork

You need to defrost your peas, i do it over night!!
1’ Step: Night before
Defrost your frozen peas, I usually take them out of the freezer before I go to sleep. I guess it needs probably around 8 hours.

2’ Step: Morning
In the morning, heat up your pan to medium temperature, add olive oil. In the meantime slice garlic and dice your onion . First throw garlic in to the pan. Fry it for 30 sec on one side and than flip it to the next side. Add onion to the pan. Give it a fry for a 2-3 min so it goes soft and clear. Set it aside to cool while you take care of the peas.

3’ Step: mush the pea
You can use blender in this case add your green peas, 2 spoons of sesame oil chili flakes and blend for a few seconds. I used fork as it was super early n the morning and i didn’t want to wake up my boyfriend. As you are not after smooth texture fork is enough. I like a bit of texture in my spread. After blending/mashing add onion, garlic and your spices. It is done!
