Tofu cocoa mousse

Super Easy | 5 min | 3 ingredients

This is a super easy quick recipe that I got from a restaurant owner here in Barcelona, by the way, I would totally recommend the place. It is called Morgentau and is located in Poblenou.

ingredients

-1/2 Silken tofu (I got citrus one, but you can use normal one and add lemon or orange zest)
– 2tbs cocoa powder
– 1tbs maple syrop

btw: I love this tofu (not this specific flavour but the overall brand) . It is made locally, here, in Barcelona by a small workshop. All products from SOMENOYA that i tried so far, are worth recommending. It is really worth it, to research if you have a place like this around you, that makes tofu locally you might be surprised. I had that type of place in Warsaw as well, once you try gourmet/artisan/posh tofu you will get it (prices are lower or equal as in normal supermarkets and quality is out of this world, it is a completely different product). Now to this complicated recipe.

1′ Step: Add everything to blender

Add tofu, maple syrup and cocoa to a blender. As I had this pomelo tofu i did not use any citrusy zest, but if you are using normal silken tofu you can add some lemon or orange zest to break the chocolaty sweet taste.

2’step: Blend till smooth

3’step: EAT!

I forgot to mention that you can do it with different things instead of tofu you can use banana or sweet potato! I did it once with a banana and it was suuuuper nice! Ate it straight from the blender!
